Getting to Vuokatti by bus is a breeze from any direction. Indeed, it is so easy that a bus will bring you all the way to where Vuokatti accommodation facilities and activities offerings are located.
The nearest town to Vuokatti is Kajaani, which is located some 30 km or half an hour’s bus ride from Vuokatti. Kajaani is well served by buses from the rest of Finland. For example: the bus ride from the nearest larger towns of Oulu and Kuopio to Kajaani takes just 2½ hours and there are several daily departures and arrivals. You will be pleased to know that once you get to Kajaani, there are close to 20 buses per day running to and from Vuokatti.
Numerous bus stops have been distributed within the Vuokatti area and catching one to take you “door-to-door” is no problem.

There are also combination tickets which includes ski ticket and bus ticket. These tickets are sold in particular busses in Kuhmo and Kajaani.
