The Sotkamo-Vuokatti Tourism Information bureau is located at Kattikeskus, in the snowboarding tunnel.
The staff at the Tourism Information bureau provided free-of-charge information on Sotkamo and Vuokatti, places to see, events, and services. Also available from the bureau are brochures, local maps (e.g. ski-trail maps and trekking maps, and snowmobiling route maps) plus other related material. This service is provided in Finnish and in English, and in the winter season also in Russian.
