The Vuokatti image bank contains a collection of images and the Vuokatti logo. The images are high-resolution RGB jpeg files intended for printing. The image files are 2-5 MB in size (approx. 3500 x 2000 px).
The copyrights and publication rights to all of the images and the logo in the Vuokatti ImageBank belong to the Vuokatti common marketing body and to individual photographers. The images may be used in the in-house marketing of the companies involved in the common marketing and in other forms of presentation, e.g. information dissemination and travel agency use, in situations where such use promotes Vuokatti and its positive image. Other use requires case by case agreement with Vuokatti common marketing body.
Licences to use and publish the images MUST BE APPLIED FOR IN WRITING IN ADVANCE. The application shall set out the purpose of use of an image/images. The application shall individualise who or what wishes to use an image/images, for what purpose (media or some other purpose of use), and in which country an image/images is/are to be published.
The application for licence to use shall be addressed as follows: toimisto (a) mill.fi. Licences to use the images shall not be granted for commercial or private purpose nor for purposes contrary to good practices. A licence to publish may not be sold nor assigned to a third party. The images may not be manipulated without the permission of the photographer in question. The images shall be handed over as per a single licence to use, i.e. each purpose of use or each time that an image is used shall require that a report be submitted to Vuokatti common marketing body.
Instructions for the use of the images: The images are in jpg format and they are also suitable for use in newspapers and periodicals. Click the display image and allows the high-resolution image open on the display. Save the image using the browser’s Save command, and then return using the browser’s Back button and open the next image if opening more than one image.
Please note! Most of the images are high-resolution images, and this means that they have a large file size – and consequently downloading can take a long time with slow Internet connection speeds. Your browser may not necessarily display all of the images correctly. This means that you need to view them separately using a program specifically designed for viewing images.
