In the summer, Vuokatinrinteet ski-slopes are an excellent skateboarding venue. Next to the snowboarding tunnel there is a free-of-charge skatepark/street with miniramps, flat boxes and dizzies accommodating close to 50 skateboarders.
Vuokatti's skateboarding park was designed by Toma Stankevisch from Helsinki, who has been practising this sport for 14 years. His handiwork is also to be seen in most other skateboarding venues in Finland.
Vuokatti skatepark is free of charge to users.
